Jets to Stick with Mark Sanchez at QB vs Jacksonville

When the 5-7 Jets roll into Jacksonville Sunday, they won’t have a new look at QB.

At least not at the start of it.

Jets coach Rex Ryan let the cat out of the bag Wednesday, when it was announced that New York would stick with troubled starter Mark Sanchez at the QB spot.

The move means that Florida fans hoping to see their local hero Tim Tebow finally get a start at EverBank Field will be sadly disappointed.

Sanchez was benched for third-stringer Greg McElroy after throwing three interceptions against the Cardinals last Sunday, and watched as McElroy led the team on the Jets only TD drive in the 7-6 win.

Tebow is recovering from fractured ribs and hasn’t been much of a factor all season. Reports say he might be inactive Sunday vs the Jaguars.
