Gridiron Gab Rapid Recap: Ravens Hold Off Cowboys 31-29 in Baltimore

The Dallas Cowboys dominated the statistics, held the ball twice as long as Baltimore and amassed more yards rushing against the Ravens than any team – ever.

Still it wasn’t enough as the Ravens held off the Cowboys 31-29 Sunday for their 14th straight regular-season home win as Dan Bailey’s 51-yard field goal attempt went wide left in the closing seconds.

The Ravens victory may have come at a cost. During the game the defense lost several players to injury, cornerbacks Lardarius Webb (right knee) and Jimmy Smith (lower leg strain), along with middle linebacker Ray Lewis (triceps). Webb’s could be a possible ACL tear which would essentially end his season. He is expected to go in for an MRI on Monday.
