Patriots – The Summer of Rob Gronkowski is Officially Over

After posing nude for ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue” and partying at events for the issue and the ESPYs and co-hosting “Access Hollywood Live” in recent days — things that seem un-Patriot-like — don’t be surprised if tight end Rob Gronkowski lays low for the next couple of weeks according to Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe.

Via a league source, Gronkowski has been told by the team that his summer of Gronk, so to speak, is over. The tight end has been a lightening rod for fans and media alike to either love him or hate him, and now with training camp around the corner, he and the Pats have to get ready to get back back to business.

Already there’s been chatter that Gronk is getting a huge head from all the off the field love he seems to get from the fans and more so from the ladies, and the Pats want to put a stop to that right now.

Good luck, a monster has already been created, and now it’s up to the Pats to try and control it.
