Peyton Manning has a decision to make, and it’s starting to appear more and more like it won’t happen before the start of free agency on Tuesday.
Manning spent over six hours with the Cardinals over the weekend, yet sources report that it still appears the Denver Broncos are the front runner for his services.
Neither the Cards or Broncos, the only two teams to visit with Manning, have engaged in contract negotiations with the QB.
It was first reported that Manning wanted to make his decision on a new team by the start of free agency (which is 4pm EST on Tuesday), but Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter of ESPN report the process won’t be done by then.
In other Manning news, the Dolphins, a team that has reportedly been looking to speak to Manning remain in the mix for him to sign there.
Also, the Seahawks and Chiefs, two teams hoping to stay alive for Manning, are both out of contention for him to sign there.
