Report: Raiders RB Darren McFadden sprained foot reveals no structural damage

Raiders head coach Hue Jackson said Tuesday tests on star running back Darren McFadden’s sprained right foot revealed no structural damage according to Vittorio Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle.

“Yeah, I think all that’s fine,” Jackson said. “And I think what we’ll do is just move forward and see exactly where he is. Can he run? Can he not run? What’s going to be the diagnosis for his mid-foot sprain and let’s go from there.”

The Arkansas alum was seen in a walking boot and on crutches earlier in the week.

Janikowski update: Seeing that the Raiders waived kicker Dave Rayner on Tuesday, Jackson said he expects kicker Sebastian Janikowsi (hamstring) back after the bye vs. Denver in Week 9.
