Bengals WR Ochocinco makes a Childs Dream come True

It seems so many people around the league like to criticize Chad Ochocinco, including many Bengals fans and observers.

He tends to grate people with his thirst for the spotlight and his endzone celebrations.  Some have called into question is commitment to football, as evidenced by his recent stint on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, and his new VH1 reality show, which started production today.

However, Doug Farr over at Yahoo! Sports (and through NFL Network) has showed us once again that despite what you make think of Chad the football player, there is not much negative to be said about Chad the human being.

Chad recently personally attended the recent Children Mending Hearts annual gala, and made one homeless boy’s dream come true. Check out the link and watch the emotionally touching video.

No one is perfect, and Chad has certainly made his mistakes along the way.  But the truth is that underneath the glitz, the glamour and the craving of attention, Chad is a kind-hearted and genuine human being.

Thank you Chad, for representing the Bengals, the city of Cincinnati, and yourself the way you do.
