Browns Safety Adams Excited About Return

Branson Wright recently interviewed recently resigned Safety Mike Adams, I found a couple of comments that Adams said interesting about Mangini, and the Cleveland Browns organization. First thing Adams talked about, the new guys around the locker room saying its been really nice having more veteran guys around the locker room and you know they aren’t rookies. Mike Adams also talks about how it came down to the Browns and Patriots, contract wise there wasn’t much difference, but he felt like it was home and he wanted to finish what has been started.

Coming off a disappointing season from last year he wants to rebound from that, and wanted to be here when things turn around. Believing in Mangini and knowing that this team is headed in the the right direction. He thinks Mangini is going to make a difference because change isn’t always bad, a change makes guys alert and knowing you are hear for purpose,”we are here to get a ring.” Adams said. He talks about when het met Mangini he realized he is an honest, straight forward guy, that does crack jokes every once in awhile. He has won in New York and now he wants to win here.

Mike Adams is really excited about competing in 2009, every play just competing. Mike Adams is a Cleveland Brown and wanted to be a Cleveland Brown. You don’t hear to much about Adams but he showed up to play almost every Sunday. Is he going to be a premier Safety in the league probably not but he does do a great job when his number is called and hopefully he will get a shot at Starting this year.
