Reports: Ray Rice Inactive Today

Many reports emerging suggest Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice will be inactive today, to rest up for the Indianapolis Colts (a team whose defense has allowed 135+ rushing yards four of the last five games; 353 rushing yards were dropped on them by the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday) or Cincinnati Bengals defense in the Wild Card round of the post-season.

This will also give valuable reps to back-up RBs Bernard Pierce (who joined Rice as 100-yard rushers last week against the Giants) and Anthony Allen.

Ray Rice finishes his season with 1616 yards from scrimmage and 10 total TDs.

UPDATE: Ray Rice is active, yet will only play one or two series. The inactives are MLB Ray Lewis, OLB Terrell Suggs, DT Haloti Ngata, WR Anquan Boldin, RG Marshal Yanda, SS Bernard Pollard and WR Tandon Doss.
