Reports: Andy Reid Uninterested in Staying; Eagles Want Bill Cowher, Jay Gruden, Chip Kelly, Bill O’Brien

Earlier this morning, ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio reported on 97.5 FM the Fanatic this about the Philadelphia Eagles: “Keep the name Bill Cowher in mind. Cowher is in play for the Birds job.”

Jason La Canfora from CBS Sports is reporting that Eagles head coach Andy Reid is not interested in coming back to the Eagles, and that Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly are two guys they want.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Eagles and Browns have Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien on their shortlists. There is a rumor that a buyout for $9m exists for his contract, but it’s unknown if that would include an NFL position. O’Brien turned down a chance to interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars last January.

Wake up Jason, that is the most ridiculous tidbit of reporting all year, there is no way Reid has a choice, he has been a dead man walking in Philly for weeks.
