Oregon State Will Be Victorious in Alamo Bowl

Valero Alamo Bowl Preview, Oregon State vs. Texas (6:55 PM ET on ESPN)
Rankings: Oregon State is 38th in PPG, 23rd in PPG allowed; Texas is 24th in PPG, 73rd in PPG allowed.
2013 NFL Draft prospects:
For Oregon State, CB Jordan Poyer (2nd) and WR Markus Wheaton (early 2nd); For Texas, DE Jackson Jeffcoat (Junior, late 2nd), DE Alex Okafor (late 1st), and FS Kenny Vaccaro (early 2nd).
Prediction: As West Virginia did today, Texas will feature a similar, stereotypical Big 12 defensive meltdown – props to the Texas Tech defense for stepping up against Minnesota’s offense down the stretch – an Oregon State Beavers offense that packs a wallop with very-respected-in-the-college coaching-ranks Mike Riley. Oregon State 42, Texas 31.
