NFL Network’s Albert Breer is reporting that – irrespective of whether or not he chooses to go pro – Oregon head coach Chip Kelly will receive multiple offers from different teams.
He mentions that the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers will both make him offers to become each of theirs’ next head coach.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has adopted parts of Kelly’s innovative offense that operates at break-neck speed. Kelly nearly took the Tampa Bay Buccaneers job last season, before heading back to Oregon.
Kelly has coached Oregon to a 45-7 record during his tenure there, finishing in the top 8 in scoring all four years there. They play the Kansas State Wildcats in the Fiesta Bowl January 3rd at 8 PM ET on ESPN.
