More famous for who he dates than for most of his on-field exploits, 1st rounder-turned-journeyman quarterback Matt Leinart is in for the Oakland Raiders against Carolina.
Carson Palmer was injured, and Leinart – who is a free agent after this season – has completed 6 of 10 passes for 53 yards and an interception. Halftime gives beleaguered offensive coordinator Greg Knapp a chance to make adjustments to help put Leinart in a comfort zone.
Exciting 3rd-string QB Terrelle Pryor has 1 carry for 2 yards and 1 catch for 22 yards.
