Various reports emerged last night indicating that the MRI on Robert Griffin III’s injured right knee came back negative, meaning there is no significant damage to any of the ligaments. The team is calling it a “sprain” at this point, but his availability for the Redskins matchup on Sunday vs. Cleveland is very questionable as of right now.
Griffin tweeted a very relieved and positive message yesterday, saying: “Your positive vibes and prayers worked people!!!! To God be the Glory!” This was likely after receiving the news that the MRI was negative.
