
The season is over for Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert, as today the team placed him on injured reserve, which ends his 2012 campaign.
Gabbert suffered a right forearm/left shoulder injury early in the wild OT loss to the Texans this past Sunday in Houston.
He watched on the sidelines as 27-year-old backup Chad Henne threw for 354 yards and four touchdowns in the eventual defeat.
Henne had already been named the starting quarterback on Monday for this weeks game against the Tennessee Titans.
The Jags also put wide receiver Laurent Robinson was also placed on IR with a concussion.
