Gridiron Gab Week Eleven Preview – New York Jets at St.Louis

The big question everyone in Rams Nation is asking, “Will the Rams beat the Jets this Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome?” And the analysis is simple.

If last week’s jump-out-in-front of one of the NFL’s best defenses by 14-0 in the first quarter Rams shows up, then we will win. If the embarrassing and poorly coached getting-our-butts-kicked-in-the-fog team that lost 45-7 at the hands of the Patriots team shows up, then we will lose.

Analysis over. The Rams have shown they can play with and even beat some of the best teams in the NFL. They beat Seattle, they beat the Cardinals when they were still good, and they were two brain-farts away from beating the very tough SF 49ers. On some weekends we have a very good team.

Of course you know the flip side to this… On some Sundays the Rams are very bad. We lost games to Detroit and to Miami we should have won and we were blown out by the Patriots and Packers. So again the analysis is simple, if we show up to play… we can win.
