Broncos QB Manning Now Holds the Title of All-Time NFL Comeback King

Wondering who the all-time comeback king of the NFL is? If you said he plays in Denver your right.

If you said John Elway – your wrong.

The new NFL comeback King was crowned in Cincinnati Sunday, as Peyton Manning took over the title from Broncos Hall of Fame QB John Elway.

Elway led the Broncos to plenty of comeback drives over the course of his career, and now after Manning’s comeback on Sunday, he holds the record.

Manning took the Broncos on an 80-yard drive that gives the Broncos the fourth-quarter lead, his 48th game-winning drive. Manning now holds the NFL record in a category Elway once defined.

Coach John Fox says of Manning: “I think he thrives on it. I think most competitors do.”
