Gridiron Gab Rapid Recap: Luck Goes Wild as Colts Top Dolphins 23-20

The Colts got a rookie record performance today from QB Andrew Luck, and used some veteran kicking from Adam Vinatieri to get to 5-3 with a 23-20 win over the Dolphins at home.

Vinatieri nailed a decisive 43-yard field goal with 6:03 to go to lift the Colts, who are two games over .500 on the season.

Luck was on fire all day, throwing for 433 yards and two TD passes, breaking Cam Newton’s single-game passing record (422 yards) for a rookie.
