ESPN is reporting that the Panthers are listening to offers for RB DeAngelo Williams, pictured above in gloves commemorating the NFL’s controversial alliance with Susan G. Komen’s breast cancer group.
The Rams – who should still be thinking postseason if they win in London today – might find they could get a piece they need (maybe a WR?) by trading away RB Steven Jackson. He’s been coveted by the Packers for years, Green Bay has made huge offers in the past and is reportedly still interested. Right now, back-up Daryl Richardson is averaging 5.1 yards per rush, Jackson 3.8.
The trade deadline is Tuesday, and it’s suggested that the Steelers, Cowboys and Cardinals might make offers for one or both RB’s.
