The Lions learned first hand Monday night why everyone in the NFL is so high on the Chicago Bears defense.
Detroit was held to just seven points, as the Bears extended their lead over them in the NFC North to three games with a key 13-7 win at Solider Field Monday night.
The setback puts the Lions at 2-4 on the season, while the Bears are now 5-1. Detroit also falls to 1-3 on the road, this after getting their only road win last week over the Eagles in overtime.
They failed to carry that momentum over, as their offense was held to a lone touchdown with :30 seconds left when Matthew Stafford hit Ryan Broyles with a 12-yard score.
