Gridiron Gab Rapid Recap: Ravens Rolled by Texans in 43-13 Beating in Houston

The Houston Texans look like the new team to beat in the AFC, while the Baltimore Ravens head into the bye looking for answers.

Matt Schaub threw two touchdown passes, Arian Foster ran for two scores and the Texans dominated a showdown of the conference’s top two teams, routing the Ravens 43-13 on Sunday.

For sixty minutes today at Reliant Stadium, all the Ravens’ flaws over the first six weeks were on display. The defense couldn’t get consistent pressure on the quarterback. Receivers ran free in the Ravens’ secondary and Texans ran through repeated arm tackles.

On offense, the Ravens wilted again on the road with Joe Flacco looking unsettled and erratic, the offensive line getting overmatched and star running back Ray Rice never getting established.
