Dolphins Considering Talking With Chiefs About Dwayne Bowe

The Dolphins under head coach Joe Philbin haven’t been shy about orchestrating trades. They traded WR Brandon Marshall to the Bears for two 3rd-rounders and traded CB Vontae Davis to the Colts for a 2nd-rounder and a conditional draft pick. Jason Cole of Yahoo! is now reporting that the Dolphins could attempt to trade for Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe.

Cole says Bowe wants out of Kansas City very badly.

Despite receiving from Brodie Croyle, Damon Huard, Matt Cassel and Tyler Thigpen, Bowe has caught 39 touchdowns in 81 games.

Some believe the Packers-Texas A&M-style no-huddle offense that Philbin and OC Mike Sherman want to bring could be hard for a new receiver to pick up.

Hit “Like” or the Facebook share button if you think the Dolphins corps of Dwayne Bowe-Brian Hartline-Davone Bess-Jabar Gaffney-Marlon Moore would be one to challenge the AFC East secondaries!

  1. If I were Bowe I would demand they trade me right away and then play out the contract with the hopes of getting better pay or becoming a free agent.
