The Titans as expected this week will be without QB Jake Locker, after the second-year QB separated his non-throwing shoulder Sunday vs the Texas.
Locker sitting means that backup QB Matt Hasselbeck will step forward and start.
After week 5 Locker’s status has been described as “uncertain” by head coach Mike Munchak, but most think that Locker will sit a couple of weeks, as the Titans have a quick turnaround with a Thursday game in week six vs the Steelers at home.
A previous report from a shoulder separation specialist said that Locker would likely need to undergo surgery to fully repair this injury.
