Chuck Pagano Diagnosed With Leukemia; Bruce Arians Takes Over Head Coach For a Few Weeks

ESPN
is reporting that Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has been diagnosed with an “extremely treatable” form of leukemia.

He had been battling fatigue since the summer, yet didn’t get his blood tested until the bye week. He will be out several weeks to get treatment, as OC Bruce Arians will be coaching in the interim. Arians was in the news last week when Ben Roethlisberger called audibles from his playbook instead of Todd Haley’s in the Steelers loss to the Raiders.

There will be a press conference today featuring a doctor speaking on Pagano’s condition.

The Colts have a game at home Sunday against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
