Darrelle Revis Done For the Year With ACL Tear

ESPN New York’s Rich Cimini
has reported that Jets CB Darrelle Revis is done for the year with an ACL tear from yesterday’s 23-20, overtime road win against the Dolphins.

Third-year corner Kyle Wilson – who has 3 career interceptions and 12 passes defensed – is expected to take his spot in the starting line-up. Also expect the Jets to add another defensive back to the active roster.

The Jets are 10th in passing yards allowed with 218.7, and are tied for 8th in interceptions with 4, despite their pass rush only notching 3 sacks so far this season.

Alex Smith, who they face Sunday in New York, is 7th in the NFL in QB rating (102.7) but – so long as Rodgers throws for 119 yards vs. the Seahawks – will be 26th in yards through the air.
