Barack Obama Disses The Miami Dolphins

President Barack Obama appeared in a radio interview taped on Saturday with DJ Laz AKA Pimp with the Limp and is – apparently – convinced that the point of preseason is to win the games (and/or that the outcome is determined by the starters).

Obama: “DJ Laz.”

Laz: “O-Bama!”

Obama: “What’s going on, man?”

Laz: “How are you, sir?”

Obama: “Blessed and highly favored.”

Laz: “It is an honor and pleasure to have the president of the United States. I’m humbled.”

Obama: “I’m the one who should be humbled. You’re big time. You’ve got Pitbull and Flo Rida and all these guys just beating a path to your door. And so I’m hoping I can get a little of that magic from you in this interview.”

Laz: “I’m wearing a Miami Dolphins jersey.”

Obama: “You’ve got to start with that Dolphins thing. Did you see that HBO special ‘Hard Knocks’? That’s a pretty good show. As I recall, you guys didn’t win any… in the preseason.”

Laz: “Now I’m getting ragged on by the president of the United States.”

Obama: “I’m just saying you brought it up. My Bears – I’m feeling pretty good about them.”

The Miami Dolphins will host the Oakland Raiders in their home opener Sunday at 1 ET.

Really the President has nothing better to do with his time? Lke run a country which has run amuck?

Hmm… maybe sports writers should stay away from politics. Er… and football?
A)The writer criticizes Obama for his opinion that the Bears are better than the Dolphins this year. Um, Check the scores from week 1, he called it pretty good. Fins – lost big. Bears – won big.

    B) the obvious political opinion of the writer is against Obama, but he tries to hide it under a ‘sports news story’. And fails. 2 sentences about football? Not really a story, bro.

    C) 85% of the ‘story’ is a transcript from some other interview. Lazy writing.

So, go learn something about politics and/or football before you try your hand at writing again, please. You have lowered the level of the collective intellectual discourse of the internet with this ‘article’, which is not an easy feat.

Could you explain to me where I criticized Obama for his opinion? I said he “dissed” them. That may be short for disrespected. That said, the Dolphins are not a good football team, so they have not earned respect.

I did not criticize Obama for saying the Bears were better. I predicted the Ravens and Bears would meet in the Super Bowl back on June 17th.

I criticized his failed attempt at a specific attack (attacking one’s preseason record is not the best place to go) but I agree wholeheartedly with the President that the Dolphins are a bad football team (due solely to playing both a developing quarterback and wide receivers who aren’t explosive).

I’m not trying to hide anything. I have made several anti-Obama, anti-Romney references here and on my Twitter. You don’t post a picture like the one I did if you are trying to be cowardly about your beliefs. I am against those who betray the Constitution, redefine “civilian”, and take lives unnecessarily, not just Obama.

Finally, I’m not here to win arguments, but rather I’m hear to entertain and – when Obama’s name comes up – spread truth. Nowhere in your response to you deny the atrocities mentioned in the image.

I appreciate your suggestions for me, but I will continue writing and I suggest you stop visiting here, Bleacher Report and ESPN if you don’t like when others’ stories are re=posted.
