It looks like the Browns will have their new stud back in the fold, as reports are Trent Richardson will start today vs the Eagles. On the other hand, veteran LB Scott Fujita is likely to sit.

Texans fans were holding their breath when they heard RB Arian Foster had a knee injury on Thursday, but he too appears like he is going to be able to play vs Miami.

Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart has just Tweeted that he is NOT going to play today when the Cats go to Tampa as he has an ankle sprain that will keep him out.

Our first weather report of the day comes from Tampa – where Stephen Holden of the Tampa Bay Times Tweets that it’s been raining bad in Florida since 3am, and conditions are not going to be good for the Panthers and Buccaneers.

The Patriots have downgraded two players – CB Alfonzo Dennard with a hamstring, and G/C Nick McDonald with a shoulder to OUT for today’s opener in Tennessee vs the Titans.

The Steelers run game will be led tonight by Issac Redman, who has been dealing with a hip injury but will go vs the Broncos in Denver.

Washington is set to start a rookie at running back today, as Alfred Morris will get the start when the Skins take on Drew Brees and the Saints this afternoon.

The Browns already have a new owner, and according to Jason LaCanfora, the team will have a new look at President, as he’s reporting Mike Holmgren is out next month, and Joe Banner is in.
