Suspensions of Four Saints Players Involved in “Bounty Program” Overturned

All along the four players that were suspended for their involvement in “bounty gate” have stated that they were innocent.

Friday, at least three people agreed with them.

Jonathan Vilma, Will Smith, Scott Fujita and Anthony Hargrove all had their suspensions overturned for their involvement in the Saints “bounty” program. The suspensions were overturned by a three-member appeal panel, a union source said.

Vilma was suspended the entire 2012 regular season, Hargrove for eight games, Smith for four games and Browns linebacker Fujita three games.

Vilma took to Twitter and wrote, “Victory is mine!!!! -stewie griffin.”
