Love him or hate him, your going to get a lot more of Chris Berman on ESPN.
The sports network announced today that Berman, who has been with ESPN since it was a month old, has been inked to a new long-term deal.
ESPN Friday also picked its 33rd anniversary to announce that Berman would get a new deal. Says ESPN spokesman Mike Soltys: “The date of the announcement is no coincidence.”
Berman’s on-air roles will continue for the most part unchanged. He will continue as the host of the stations NFL pregame shows, the NFL Draft, MLB’s Home Run Derby and golf’s U.S. Open.
