NFL Week 1 TV Announcing Pairings

The Redskins’ Robert Griffin III makes his regular season debut in the most hostile environment in all of the NFL, Mike Martz will make his broadcasting debut (Pitts-Martz could become one of the more informative broadcast teams, at least) while Greg Schiano makes his coaching debut against Cam Newton 2.0Russell Wilson and Heath Evans will make their debuts on the field and in the booth respectively, and – finally –  Joe Buck will have a chance to rekindle his hyperbolic “WHAT A DISGUSTING DISPLAY!” line should Randy Moss catch another touchdown and “fake moon” the Lambeau fans who used to moon him when he’d arrive at the parking lot. The game of the day is being broadcast nationally with Peyton Manning’s first game in almost 2 years, with some of the best weapons he’s ever had, going up against the vaunted Steelers, who have retribution on their mind. Check your local listings (Panthers-Buccaneers could be blocked locally).
