6’7″, 232-lb. TE Evan Moore never really got to show what he could do in the passing game, since Colt McCoy was not a quarterback who could deliver strikes 30-40 yards down the field. NFL Network’s Jay Glazer reports that he’s signed with the Seattle Seahawks Saturday, after being released Friday.
Moore had 32 receptions, 324 yards and 4 TDs in 2011, tying him with Josh Cribbs for more scores through the air on the team.
Seahawks HC Pete Carroll had familiarity with Moore, having coached against Moore’s Stanford teams.
To make room, TE Kellen Winslow has been cut. He’s only been there since being sent over from the Buccaneers in May.
The Seahawks signed and cut another ex-Brown earlier in the summer, Antonio Bryant. They also signed ex-Browns WR Braylon Edwards.
