Anthony Armstrong Claimed By Dolphins

WR Anthony Armstrong is with the Miami Dolphins again. He was there on the practice squad and in preseason 2008-2008, spent three seasons with the Washington Redskins, and has returned.

Armstrong had 3 receptions for 76 yards during the preseason – including a 46-yarder in his finale – on a Redskins team that was overloaded at wide receiver, and had difficulty giving all of them enough preseason reps.

The Dolphins are also showing interest in Jabar Gaffney (the top Redskins WR last season), and had been pursuing Packers WR James Jones again recently.
