Remember a few years back when QB Vince Young said he was going to have a “Hall of Fame” career?
Yeah, he may want to adjust that thought a little bit.
Monday Young was released by the Buffalo Bills, another setback for the former Texas QB who was the apple of Jeff Fisher’s eye back when the Titans took him in the first round with the third overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.
Young joined Buffalo this offseason to compete for the number two QB job behind starter Ryan Fitzpatrick. He lost out in the competition to former Chiefs QB Tyler Thigpen.
The Steelers, a team that has always been tough on Young, beat him up Saturday, as he went just 10 for 26 performance with two interceptions in a 38-7 loss.
Now he can join Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson has high profile players released already this offseason.
