X-Rays Are Negative, Michael Vick’s Ribs Are Not Broken

Eagles fans might have exclaimed a “here we go again” when Michael Vick left his game against New England in the first quarter and headed to the locker room for X-rays to have his ribs looked at. He was hit by DE Jermaine Cunningham of the Pats.

The x-rays, however, are negative. Nick Foles has filled in admirably, and is angling towards challenging Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins for “QB Steal of the Draft”.

CFL pick-up DE Phillip Hunt also has flashed in this game, with a sack and several pressures. DE Darryl Tapp and LB Akeem Jordan have fumble recoveries for Philly.

The Eagles kick off the regular season at the Cleveland Browns at noon on September 9th.
