A position of relative weakness may have just gotten weaker for the Cardinals. The Cardinals believe, according to Adam Caplan of Siriux XM radio, starting LT Levi Brown could be done for the year. Their options include promoting their current back-up D.J. Young (undrafted in his second season), or sliding over RT Jeremy Bridges, who’s played LT for them in the past. Marcus McNeill may be interested, though he retired earlier this month. Kirk Chambers – who started 9 games for the Bills at RT in 2009 – and former Packers LT Chad Clifton – recently working out for the Patriots – are out there.
Brown, released earlier in the year, re-signed with the Cardinals in a 5-year, $12 million deal with $8m guaranteed.
