The Giants released a new roster today and LB Clint Sintim is not on it, the Giants are in the midst of making a bunch of additions and subtractions to the roster and Sintim, who has been on the physically-unable-to-perform list since the start of camp, is a long way from playing another meaningful down. – The Star-Ledger

Michael Vick has been with the Eagles three years and his relationship with coach Andy Reid has evolved over the years. “I can say that while coach has been in my presence, while I’ve been here, he’s been a sort of father figure,” Vick said. –

The Vikings have announced they are tweaking their capacity at the Mall of America to 90% when it comes to tickets, a reduction of approximately 6,000 seats. –

Lions running back Jahvid Best, who has not played since suffering another concussion last October, likely will start this season on the physically unable to perform list and miss at least the first six games. – ESPN

It’s evident from the Washington Redskins’ training camp that the team plans to utilize rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III’s athletic ability in every way imaginable. They are even going so far as to put in parts of the offense Griffin excelled in at the University of Baylor. – NFL Network
