Roger Goodell Says Get Ready – More Female NFL Officials Coming Soon

If your not a fan of female officials – your not going to enjoy this latest story.

On the day before line judge Shannon Eastin makes history as the first female official to work a NFL game, Commissioner Roger Goodell says she will certainly not be the last.

Goodell says just wait, as more female officials are around the corner. It’s a little unclear if there will be more female officials among replacement crews or possibly that some will be added if the NFL Referees Association and the NFL end their standoff.

Eastin says she has received great support since news emerged that she would begin working games. Charles Woodson of the Packers summed it up well when he said “it’s probably about time.”

Where do you stand on the topic? Is it about time the NFL has female officials? Or should they stay away from the game all together?
