The Vikings have plenty of injured players in camp, and coach Leslie Frazier has decided not to push them to try to be ready for the preseason game on Friday against the 49ers. At his post-walk through press conference, Frazier read a list of players who won’t be making the trip to San Francisco. – CBS Sports

St.Louis second-round wide receiver Brian Quick is starting to come on after a slow start in camp. He’s been solid two days in a row and made a really impressive grab as he skied for the ball and a touchdown in the back left corner of the end zone late in practice. –

The Packers are going to give Graham Harrell a shot as Aaron Rodgers‘ primary backup this season. Harrell figures to get plenty of playing time in the Packers’ preseason opener at San Diego on Thursday night. – Associated Press

Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas spoke to the media for the first time since “aggravating” his surgically repaired right anterior cruciate ligament, Thomas said Tuesday he might need anywhere from three to eight weeks before he is ready to get back on the field. – CBS Sports
