Video – Judge Sapp: Hot Dog Cart Fiasco

Sergio Alvarado is suing his brother, Rudy, over money he loaned him for a hot dog cart. Sergio Alvarado claims he loaned his brother, Rudy Alvarado $3000 to purchase a hot dog cart and start a family business with his son, Rudy Jr. (aka “Wolf”). Sergio claims he gave Rudy the $3,000 as a loan expecting it to be paid back in full. When the business failed, Rudy sold the cart and paid Sergio back $1500. Sergio claims it wasn’t an investment but a loan he wants the remaining $1500 that he feels he’s owed.
