It’s been a tough two season for Eagles QB Michael Vick, but as he and the team hopes 2012 will be better, the QB is hoping his future will also be brighter as he was married over the weekend.
Vick was married Saturday in Miami to longtime fiancee Kijafa Frink. There was plenty of security on hand for the event, with reports saying it cost $300,000 to keep the wedding under wraps.
GossipExtra had a few details from the massive affair, which included the following –
Chicken and waffles on the table, hookahs on the tables and R&B music blaring. Waiters passing around fruity pink drinks to the gathering of guests — about 300 family members, friends and NFL colleagues of Vick, including running back LeSean McCoy and head coach Andy Reid, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White, free agent wide out Plaxico Burress and retired New Orleans Saint Aaron Brooks. The groom’s party went with a tropical theme, pairing their tuxes with pink and purple shirts, according to a gift shop employee.
All the best to Vick and his new wife, and here’s hoping that his play on the field will be better now that he’s hitched for good.
