LaDainian Tomlinson had a great 11-year career in the NFL, and Monday he will officially call it quits as he inks a one-day deal with the Chargers.
Tomlinson wrapped up his career with two so-so seasons with the Jets. He ranks fifth on the list of the league’s all-time rushers.
He played for San Diego for 9 years, and started 141 games and rushed for a franchise-record 12,490 yards and 138 TDs. He also caught 530 passes for 3,995 yards and 15 scores.
Tomlinson ran for 914 yards and six TD’s in two years with the Jets. He will turn 33 on June 23rd.
Last season, in one start with the Jets, Tomlinson carried the ball 75 times for 280 yards with one TD and caught 42 passes for 449 yards and two scores.
