Jacksonville Cuts Aaron Kampman

Jacksonville
cut defensive end Aaron Kampman after he missed 21 games in two seasons due to injury.

A locker room leader, Kampman has 58 career sacks, tied for 18th among active players.

He only played 9 games in his last season with the Packers. He’ll likely get even more offers than Chad Ochocinco, who was released today. Kampman is a great low-risk, high-reward player with 2 Pro Bowl appearances, 11 forced fumbles, and 11 passes defensed lifetime. He also has three sacks in four career playoff games.

The Ravens, Patriots, Dolphins, Jets, Vikings, Cowboys, 49ers, Seahawks and Eagles could all be interested.
