With the 16th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft the New York Jets select DE Quinton Coples from North Carolina. Coples was said to be the best DE in the draft this year but has off the field issues that helped to scare away some teams. The Jets get the pass rusher they desperately needed
Strengths
• Good Build with room to get bigger
• Good against Blocks
• Good Ball Recognition
• Really good footwork
• Great ability to change direction
Weakness
• Needs to become more explosive
• Needs to continue to mature
• Needs to become more disciplined
• Streaky player, does take plays off
