The Saints have come to terms on a contract extension with CB Jabari Greer, inking him to a contract that will keep him in New Orleans through 2015.
Reports say it is a three-year extension, with the total value of the deal going over $23 million. Specific contract details were not available. Greer’s deal was set to expire after this coming season, and the team approached him about remaining with the team for the long term.
“It shows that with his progressive level of success and high level of play, the Saints are rewarding Jabari,” Bloom said. “The Saints are echoing what the fans think. In three years, Jabari has become one of the best corners ever in a Saints uniform.”
