Dolphins Sign Legedu Naanee; Terrell Owens is Still On Market

Versatile former Chargers and Panthers WR Legedu Naanee has signed with the Dolphins, according to his agent David Canter. Naanee – receiving from a rookie with a limited off-season – set career highs of 44 receptions and 467 yards (with 1 TD) as part of Carolina in 2011 (15 games).

He was somewhat expendable to the Panthers who get David Gettis back from injury, and likely want to get a future #1 to grow with Cam Newton as Steve Smith inches near retirement.

With Lee Evans signing with the Jaguars, his former Bills teammate Terrell Owens is the most accomplished available WR on the market, a market that includesĀ Patrick Crayton, Mark Clayton, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Jerome Simpson, Plaxico Burress, Braylon Edwards, Blair White and Roy Williams.

Hit “Like” or the Facebook share button if you think this a solid pick-up, but you want the Dolphins to draft a wideout early (or trade for one).
