Which is Better? Tim Tebow or A 4th-Round Selection?

NFL Network’s Jay Glazer is reporting that the New York Jets have traded a 4th-round pickĀ  and a 6th-round pick to the Denver Broncos for QB/TE/WR/RB/SS/LB Tim Tebow and a 7th-round pick.

Their roster now includes three quarterbacks selected in the first two rounds: Mark Sanchez, Drew Stanton and Tebow.

Here are the fourth-round selections for the New York Jets since 2005:
2011: RB Bilal Powell, Kentucky
2010: RB Joe McKnight, USC
2009: one of the picks sent to get QB Mark Sanchez, USC
2008: S Dwight Lowery, San Jose State
2007: no pick
2006: WR Brad Smith, Missouri
RB Leon Washington, Florida State
2005: S Kerry Rhodes

The Jets have had success in the fourth, more than most teams. That said, Kerry Rhodes and Dwight Lowery are the only players that are starting, and only Lowery is considered a quality starter.
