Mr. Royal going to Washington

After playing two year for and two years without, Eddie Royal wants to play for Mike Shanahan again. The Washington Post is reporting that Royal has come to terms on two year deal worth $12 million dollars with the Washington Redskins.  Royal is the third wide out to sign with the Redskins today, following Pierre Garcon and Josh Morgan. The Redskins are well on their way to revamping their wide receiver core.

Royal exploded on the scene in 2008 with 91 catches for 980 yards and 5 touchdowns. Royal also had a good 2010 season, but suffered thru bad seasons in 2009 and 2011. Injures hit Royal hard in the off years. Washington is hoping that Royal will have another breakout year with Shanahan has his coach.
