LaDainian Tomlinson Savages Teammates on Showtime Tonight

LaDainian Tomlinson
once believed in “Play Like a Jet” enough to get the team’s logo tattooed on himself. The Buffalo News’ Tim Graham reported on his Twitter some quotes from tonight’s LaDainian Tomlinson interview on Showtime.

On the Jets locker room: “..is as bad as I’ve ever been around, honestly.”

On Rex Ryan: “(Teams) really want to go out there and say ‘Let’s shut this guy up. Let’s shut these Jets up, just end their season.’ ”

On the Mark Sanchez-Santonio Holmes feud: “It got out-of-hand toward the end of the season. That is why it got out in the media.”

And: “Something that happened 3rd or 4th week of season … and nobody knew because the players kept it under wraps.”

On if they could co-exist: “Whew, that is a tough one. I would really have to sit down with them and see.”

On whether or not Sanchez is pampered: “Yes he is. I would say a bit … because he has no competition. He has no real threat to say this guy may take my job.”

On if Sanchez is salvageable: “I think he can overcome it. … He just has to have pieces around him to help him get it done.”

On the alleged Sanchez “laziness”: “Not a lazy guy. He puts in the time after practice in the film room. He can get it done.”

On Jets: “(They) created this. This is type of team they wanted. Tannenbaum, Ryan are both brash, in-your-face type”

On Rex’s predictions: “I would prefer him not to say it as much as he did.”

Hit “Like” if you still believe in Rex Ryan and his staff, and look forward to them getting players that better fit their game plans and style.
