In the NFL, there’s always players that are hyped to have big seasons, and just don’t. Today, we are going to take a look at the 10 players that failed to live up to the hype for what was expected in their 2011 seasons.
10. Santana Moss – Redskins WR
In 2010 for the Skins, Moss pulled in 93 catches for 1115 yards and six touchdowns. He was the playmaker in the Redskins offense, and was expected to have a similar type season in 2011. He didn’t. Injuries hurt Moss, and the season, much like that of the Skins, was a disappointment, as he caught just 46 passes for 584 yards with four TD’s in 12 games. Turning 33 before next season, it will be interesting to see how much Moss has left entering 2012.
Hillis should be #1.
