Barry Sanders, Jr. Picks Stanford

Barry Sanders, Jr., the son of Hall of Fame Lions RB Barry Sanders, will announced Saturday that he has committed to Stanford. He was deciding between Stanford and their Fiesta Bowl rival Oklahoma State, where Barry’s dad went to school.

A four-star prospect, 5’11”, 195 lb. Sanders ran for 1,324 yards and 27 touchdowns his last season at Heritage Hall High. He has been clocked at 4.31 in the 40-yard dash.
