Week 14 Facts

Despite injuries to Tarvaris Jackson and the offensive line and no TD in 3 games, 6 different Seahawks have caught TDs.

Only four different Patriots have caught TDs this season.

Ben Roethlisberger has been sacked more than any other QB. Note: Sam Bradford, Blaine Gabbert, and Jay Cutler have missed several games.

The Bears and Broncos combined to have one game of 89 or more rushing yards in the first three weeks. Since then, both teams have yet to run below that in a game.

The Chargers and Bills each started out 4-1. One of them will get their ninth loss on Sunday when they face each other.

The 49ers will host the Cardinals on Sunday. Since Big Red made the Super Bowl post-2008 season, the 49ers have won 5 straight in series, 4 straight by 15+.

The Lions are 2nd in pass attempts, 29th in run attempts. They play the Vikings, who are 25th in pass attempts – despite 49 vs. Broncos – and 13th in run attempts.

The 2009 Jets held 9 opponents to one or fewer TDs. The 2010 Jets did it five times. The 2011 Jets have done it four times so far.

Despite having a punt return taken away by a bad call on Thanksgiving, the Ravens have scored TD’s 5 different ways, are 6th in scoring and 3rd in points allowed.

They are 6th in scoring despite playing the teams that are 1st, 2nd, 4th (2X), 6th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 19th and 25th in points allowed.

The Green Bay Packers – 1st in scoring – have played the teams that are 9th, 10th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st (2X) in points allowed.

The Packers have the teams that are 9th, 18th, 21st, and 27th in points allowed still on the schedule.

A Titans win over the Saints could open the door for the Falcons to steal the NFC South in a Monday showdown in New Orleans Week 16.

A Saints win over the Titans will give the Texans the AFC South if Houston beats Cincinnati.

Philip Rivers and Josh Freeman combined for 19 INTs last season. This year, they have combined for 33 so far.

The Falcons, Bears and Vikings are the only opponents of the Packers to gain fewer than 384 yards against their defense.

In all four games that Josh Johnson has started and completed, he’s run for at least 40 yards.

If the Colts allow 31 points to the Ravens, they will have allowed more points in their 13 games than they allowed in any entire season since 2001.

The Colts – the visiting team on Sunday – are 29th in points scored and 32nd in points allowed.

Only three Colts wideouts have caught a pass this year, and they only have four on the active roster.
